Our research projects are now incorporated into our web-based project organizers. Students click on Project Organizers under their grade level links, enter their passwords and are presented with a list of project organizers which have been assigned to their class. You may view and try out project organizers at www.digitalpencil.org -- you will not be able to save your work.

> Create a collaborative KWL Chart on selected topics - What I Know, What I Want to Find Out, What I Learned
> Identify and dictate facts "notes" as a non-fiction book is read.

Challenge Projects - 3rd Grade
Children will used a web based note cards to record research on topics. You may view work in progress here. 3rd Grade Classes are working on the following:

Top of the Fold - Grandview Newspaper
Children will use a web based project organizer to develop their articles for the school newspaper. Each child will have his/her own page which will be accessed from school and home.
