MARTIN LUTHER KING, JR.
- In January, we learn more about a great humanitarian and human rights leader, Martin Luther King, Jr. In addition, we will highlight Harriet Tubman, Rosa Parks, and Human Rights for Children as outlined by Amnesty International. - STORYTELLING
Collaborative with Finkelstein Memorial Library. Children will participate in 4-week storytelling sessions during Friday recess. Children will have the opportunity to select an age-appropriate traditional story, practice telling that story, and create a video recording of their presentation. Four week sessions will begin in November and run through April of 2006. Sessions will begin with 3rd grade students. Each session will host 12-15 students.
