Digital Journal
The Web-Based Digital Journal was developed by Mrs. Chauncey to support the writing process -- draft, revised draft, edited draft to a published piece -- allowing students and teachers to work on and review student writing from any computer which has access to the internet.Summer of 2006, a 3rd grade student (now in 4th), "J" took the digital journal for a test drive. We "worked together" in the journal and "J's" first digital journal entry is here for you to enjoy.
The WYSWIG editor supports the same editing features as found in desktop word processing systems such as MS WORD. Students will have the opportunity to incorporate podcasts, video, and images into their published writing.
